The sports service industry is a nacent industry and it has suffered from more than it's share of teething problems! Services disappear, advertise entirely false records, if they offer any disclaimers it is purely on legal documentation and the level of honesty and integrity of the average service has led to many a dismayed customer. We were born out of a frustration with things as they stood and are firmly committed to being agents of change.

We won't talk up every winner while conveniently deleting losing selections off our record. We won't sell you a "lock of the year", "game of the season" or "sure winner". We won't tell you we have information on a "fixed" game. We also won't suggest that we never get it wrong and every losing selection is down to the gods ruining our good work.

We are a service with a difference. We've been on the Secret Betting Club Hall of Fame since March 2007, we've delivered over 400 selections at a yield exceeding 14% since our move to the Sports Investor platform in November 2006, we went on a 13-0 run in February 2007 and followed that up with a 12-0 run in October and November of the same year and we've developed a reputation for simply getting it right with amazing frequency. But perhaps most importantly, we have an exceptionally high customer retention ratio and we've stayed true to the philosophy that underlined our modest beginnings.

As an organization we are small, but efficient. Professonal, but friendly. Confident, but humble. We've developed a culture of going the extra mile with our analysis and the information we put out. While a lot of services will try to lure you with illusions of overnight riches, we will always remind you that what we're dealing with here is risk.

Our methods involve the use of sophisticated statistical models, analyzing performance data, staying one step ahead of the game in terms of absorbing relevant news and information and most importantly: watching a lot of football games. Our approach is backed by the conviction that the best way to beat the market is to understand the objective and to apply more complicated subjective elements into the price of a fixture. Put simply, we understand how the market arrives at a given price and why the market believes the price is accurate. However, we also understand the biases that exist within these prices and we can identify situations where certain factors haven't been fully absorbed into the available price.

The underlying mission behind everything we do at Sports Investor is to turn gamblers who place wagers based on a gut-feeling, the toss of a coin or simply because they want to back their favorite team into investors who understand and focus on value.
